Version 1.3

Released January 6, 2026

Bug Fixes

  • Attendee List: If a user clicks the Hide from the Attendee list toggle to hide their Attendee profile from the Attendee List, their profile will be hidden from other users. However, they can access it from the Attendee tab. Previously, they had no way to access their profile once they hid it from the Attendee List.

  • Sessions: If a multi-day Event offers multiple Sessions, users can search for a Session on any day. Previously, the search feature only searched for Sessions that matched the day shown on the user’s screen.

  • Magic Link: If a Navigator app user requests a Magic Link, the link will be valid for 15 minutes. Previously, the link was usable for more than 15 minutes.

  • Email Addresses: When more than one Attendee registers for an Event using the same email address, the Navigator app will display the Event once per device. Previously, the app displayed the Event multiple times on a single device.

Switch Organizations

  • If a user switches to an organization they no longer have access to, they will see an error message and a Switch Organization button. Clicking the button allows them to select a different org. Previously, the user saw an error screen with no available actions and had to uninstall and reinstall the app to fix the issue.

  • If a user is associated with multiple orgs, they will see a “Switch Organization" link on the Upcoming Events page. Clicking the link will take them to the organization selection screen, where they can select a different org.

Enhancements

  • Overlapping Sessions: If the Event record’s Prevent Session Overlapping field is checked, the Navigator app will prevent Attendees from registering for a Session that overlaps with a Session they are already registered for.

  • Branding Elements: If an Event Organizer sets the branding elements (primary color, background color, card color theme, images, or font) for an Event, then the branding elements will be visible in the Navigator app.

  • Banner Image: Event Organizers can now configure separate banner images for the Navigator app and the Event webpage. The Navigator app will use the Event’s Thumbnail and Mobile Image URL (conference360__Thumbnail_and_Mobile_Image_URL__c) field. If the Thumbnail and Mobile Image URL field is not defined, the Navigator app will use the Event’s Image URL field.

  • Locked Sessions: The Navigator app now supports locked Sessions. If the Session Attendee’s Lock Registration Status field is set to “Yes,” Attendees cannot unregister for a locked Session.

  • Push Notifications: If a user receives a push notification with links to Sessions and/or Speakers on the Navigator app, the app will open the Session or Speaker page when the user clicks the link.

  • Event Images: Event images now include image proxy support to ensure images are correctly rendered without access issues on the Navigator app.

Custom Content

  • The Navigator app now includes a dedicated “Content” menu tab that shares Custom Content, including downloadable files, documents, and resources, with Attendees. If a Custom Content record is marked as “Venue Map,” it will not be displayed on the Content menu tab. Instead, it will be shown by clicking the View Venue Maps button on the Info tab for the Event.

  • Event Organizers can use the Custom Content record’s Display Location, Icon, and Sort Order fields to configure Custom Content in the Navigator app.

  • The Navigator app now supports rich text, images, and videos as Custom Content.

Event Content

  • The visibility of Event Content in the Navigator app is now separate from the value in the related Event Settings Venue field. Event Organizers can set the Event Settings Venue field to hide or leave the field undefined while still displaying Event Content in the Navigator app. Previously, an existing issue caused Event Content to be hidden if the Event Settings Venue field was set to “Hidden.”

  • When an Event Organizer enables the Show as ‘Venue Map’ on Navigator App field, and the Event Content record’s Category field is set to “Map,” then the Event Content record will be identified as venue-map related and displayed in the “Venue Map” section. Attendees can click the View Venue Maps button to see the map.

  • Navigator users can now click the Info tab and the View Venue Maps button to see all Event Content identified as a map.

UX Enhancements

  • When viewing a Session’s details page, users will see an icon letting them know they can click a Speaker’s name to open the Speaker’s details page.

  • On the Agenda or My Agenda screen, users will see an icon letting them know that they can click a Session’s title to open the Session details page.

Version 1.2

Released September 2025

Bug Fixes

Android Devices

  • When using a smartphone running Android 15 or higher, the user can see the app’s content, the phone’s system status bar (top notification bar), and the bottom navigation bars. Previously, the app’s content covered the phone’s system status bar and bottom navigation bars.

Magic Links

  • When a user clicks an expired magic link, the app redirects them to the “Credentials” screen, where they are prompted to request a new magic link or OTP code. Previously, the app remained stuck on the “Welcome” screen.

  • When a user receives and clicks a new magic link, the Events list will load. Previously, the app remained stuck on the “Credentials” screen.

Enhancements

  • Push Notifications: If an Attendee using the Navigator app receives a push notification with a clickable (deep) link to an Event, Session, or Speaker, they can click the link and go to the specific location within the app.

Upcoming Events

  • If users open the Navigator app when no upcoming Events are on the Event list, they will see a message instructing them to sign out/sign in, switch organizations, or contact their Event Organizer. Previously, there was no way to sign out of the app. Users could only switch to a different organization or uninstall/reinstall the app.

  • If an Attendee cancels their registration for an Event (Attendee Registration Status = “Canceled”), then the Event will no longer be visible on the “Upcoming Events” page. Events will only appear on the “Upcoming Events” page if an Attendee has a Registration Status of “Registered” or “Invited.”

UX Updates

  • In the Attendee list, long Attendees’ names will take up more space and no longer be cut off.

  • The text in an Event’s description will no longer be cut off mid-word when it reaches the end of a row. Instead, the word/text will wrap to the following line.
