Troubleshooting

Search returns no results | Must use the Attendee's full First Name, full Last Name, full Email, or company (Account)—no partial matches. Must have loaded the Event with Wi-Fi connectivity before going offline. |
Check-ins say “Pending” | Not yet synced; connect to the internet, tap the Cloud icon, then tap the SYNC X CHANGES button. |
Sync fails / error shown | Tap Retry in the Sync Manager; copy the Request Id and contact Blackthorn Support if it persists. |
The QR code isn’t working | If there is low light, try turning on your phone flashlight by clicking the lightning icon when your scanner is open. If that fails, try searching by name or email instead. |
The device is slow or unresponsive | Connect to the Wi-Fi to download the Event before going offline. If thousands of Events are active, try unpublishing past Events. |
Accidentally closed the app during sync | Don’t worry—sync will continue when you reopen the app. |

FAQs
Q: What if I can’t find someone in the search?
A: Try their full email address. If still not found, use the “+” button to add them manually.
Q: What does “Pending” mean?
A: The check-in is not yet synced. Tap the cloud icon when you’re online to finish syncing.

A: Yes, Swift Mode is available on iOS and Android devices.
