We strive to ensure that Blackthorn Mobile Payments app supports devices that Salesforce supports for their mobile app. Please review the requirements below.
Mobile Platform Requirements
The app requires that devices meet the minimum operating system requirements below.

*NOTE: As of June 4, 2024, both iOS and Android version requirements will be updated in 2024. Please be aware that the minimum version requirement will increase.

Minimum operating system requirements are subject to change. Blackthorn bears the sole responsibility of making changes to this list, with or without advanced notice.
Supported Stripe Readers
The following readers are supported on the Mobile Payments app (iOS and Android). We do not support any other kinds of bluetooth readers or POS terminals.
- Stripe Reader M2 (USA only)
- BBPOS Chipper 2X BT (USA only)
- BBPOS WisePad 3 (AUS, MYS, NZL, SGP, AUT, BEL, FRA, DEU, NLD, LUX, CHE, DNK, NOR, SWE, ESP, PRT, CZE, IRL, GBR, FIN, and CAN)
Card readers are NOT supported with non-Stripe Payment Gateways.

Supported Screen Resolutions
- 1920×1080 (Desktop computers)
- 1536×864 (Desktop computers)
- 1366x768 (Laptops)
- 360×640 (Android devices)
- 414×896 (iOS devices)
- 375×667 (iOS devices)

Devices such as Microsoft Surface and Surface Pro devices with touch technology enabled will experience Blackthorn Payments in a non-mobile app form.
