Prerequisite
At this time, Android users cannot see the "Add to Wallet" button. We are in the process of adding that functionality. Currently, Attendees must have an iOS device to use this feature.
Overview
Simplify the check-in experience for your Attendees with the Add to Apple Wallet button.
Registered Attendees who use iOS devices will see the Add to Apple Wallet button on their AttendeeLink. Clicking the button adds their Ticket and QR code to their Apple Wallet so they can access it quickly during check in without needing to search their email for their AttendeeLink.
Manage the Add to Wallet Button
The Event Settings Enable Add to Wallet from AttendeeLink (conference360__Enable_Add_to_Wallet_from_AttendeeLink__c ) field, which controls the visibility of the Add to Apple Wallet button on the AttendeeLink, is set to “Show” by default.
This means you don’t need to make any changes if you want your Attendees to see the Add to Apple Wallet button on their AttendeeLinks.
If you want to hide the button on the AttendeeLink, complete the following steps.
- Ensure you have the correct permissions for the field.
- READ/EDIT: Admin, Organizer, and Community/Platform User
- READ: Lite User, Read Only, and Limited Access
- Add the Event Settings Enable Add to Wallet from AttendeeLink field to the Event Settings page layout.
- Go to Setup.
- Click the Object Manager tab.
- In the Quick Find box, enter and click "Event Settings."
- Click the Page Layout tab.
