While we typically release monthly, there was no release this month. Effort was directed toward stability, technical improvements, and in-progress features.

This hotfix, as with regular webapp changes, does not require updates to the Salesforce package. These updates automatically apply to all customers.

Webapp Hotfix Release

(December 16, 2025)

Bug Fixes

  • Currency: For Events with Currency set to “JPY” (Japanese Yen), registrants will see the correct amount on the Stripe Checkout page if the Payment Method is set to Stripe Checkout. Previously, the amount listed on the Stripe Checkout page was multiplied by 100. (correct: JPY 5,000 vs. incorrect: JPY 500,000) (Known Issue: 000005065)

  • Stripe Checkout/Experience Cloud: After an Attendee completes the checkout process and successfully submits a payment using Stripe Checkout, the Stripe Checkout redirect function will redirect the Attendee back to the Experience Cloud/Community. Previously, the Stripe Checkout redirect failed, and the Attendee saw the "events.blackthorn.io refused to connect" error message. Additionally, the Event Registration Submission (ERS) record related to the Event registration failed, causing users to have to manually reprocess the ERS record and link the related Invoice and Transaction records to the ERS record. (Known Issue: 000005154)

  • Stripe Checkout Redirect Feature: When an Attendee completes the Event registration process, they are redirected to the Stripe Checkout page to enter their payment details and then redirected back to the Event confirmation URL. Previously, the user saw an error message when trying to submit a payment via the Stripe Checkout redirect feature.
