This release of the Blackthorn Event Navigator app focuses on the session experience and on getting attendees to the right place. Session availability and labels are accurate, organizers can brand an event with its own logo, push notifications can be targeted by ticket type, and every main screen now has consistent back navigation. iOS 1.9 · Android 1.9

✨ What's new
🎟️ A session list that reflects what you configured
Session availability now reflects real remaining capacity, Free and Mandatory labels appear on the sessions they belong to, and the track filter returns the sessions in that track. Previously these could disagree with the event's Salesforce configuration, which made the agenda hard to trust.
🖼️ Give an event its own logo
Organizers can set a mobile-optimized logo per event, which appears on the Navigator Agenda and Info tabs. Use it when a single event needs its own identity rather than inheriting the organization's.
🔔 Send a push to one ticket type
Push notifications can now be targeted by ticket type, so a message meant for VIPs or volunteers reaches only them. If the filter matches no attendees you are told so, rather than the send appearing to succeed silently.
🧭 Back navigation on every main screen
Every main tab screen now has a back button that takes you home to Events, and the notification icon has moved to the top right, in the same place throughout the app. Custom content, rich-text links, and the More page also render correctly, attendees can select and copy text where that is allowed, and the error shown for an unreadable QR code is legible.
📱 Android layout corrections
The event home tab bar and the event picker now lay out correctly on Android, and demo users get a consistent Exit Demo control. This also corrects an Android attendee-list clipping problem introduced in the May release, and tightens the separation between demo mode and analytics.
🐛 What's fixed
- Attendee list scrolling and overlapping names: Previously, the attendee list stuttered on upward flings on both iOS and Android, and on Android a long company name could overlap the name beside it. The list now scrolls smoothly and names no longer overlap.
- Tab bar alignment when tabs are hidden: Previously, hiding a conditional tab left the remaining tabs unevenly spaced. The tab bar now redistributes to fill the space.
- A mistyped organization ID left you stuck: Previously, entering an organization ID incorrectly showed an error screen with no way back, so the app had to be restarted. A Go back option now returns you to re-enter it.
- Back navigation from More-page tiles and modals: Previously, going back from a tile or modal opened from the More page could land you somewhere unexpected. Back now returns you where you came from.
- Scanning a shared event QR code before logging in: Previously, an attendee who scanned an event QR code while signed out was sent to the generic event picker after logging in, losing the event they had scanned. They now land on that specific event, whether they log in by email code or magic link.
- Demo mode after signing out: Previously, signing out of a real organization and then tapping Demo showed a white screen. It now opens the demo event list.
- Event banner images that did not appear: Previously, banner images served through a Salesforce static proxy URL rendered blank on the listing carousel and the agenda tab. They now render, and load at a smaller optimized size.
- Two overlapping arrows on iOS lists: Previously, content list items on iOS showed two chevrons on top of each other. Only one appears now.
