Create an Org-wide Email Address

Occasionally, an organization-wide or alias email address may be needed to allow users to send emails from the Essentials Edition.

Complete the steps below to set up an org-wide email.

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Click Setup.
  3. In the Quick Find box, enter and click “Organization-Wide Addresses.”
  4. Click Add.
  5. Enter a Display Name and Email Address.
  6. Select either Allow All Profiles to Use this From Address or Allow Only Selected Profiles to Use the From Address. If you select the latter, choose the profiles you want to add.
  7. Click Save.

A verification email will be sent to the newly created org-wide email address. Once the org-wide email address has been verified, it will be available to the assigned profiles.
