# Video

Page Designer

The **Video** component embeds a video from YouTube, Vimeo, or a direct URL. Use it for event recaps, speaker previews, sponsor videos, or promotional content.

### Content Settings

- **Video URL**: YouTube, Vimeo, or direct video link
- **Width / Width Mode**: fixed pixel width or responsive (Full Width fills the column)
- **Autoplay / Loop / Muted**: playback behavior (note: autoplay requires muted in most browsers)
- **Controls**: show or hide the video player controls

### Overlay Settings

- **Overlay Mode**: shows a cover image before the video plays
- **Overlay Image**: thumbnail shown before playback starts
- **Overlay Text / Overlay Text Color**: optional text on the overlay

### Style Settings

- Background Color, Transparent Background

💡Go to the **Styling tab** and select **Full Width (100%)** to make the video fill the entire column, especially impactful in a 2-column layout where the video anchors one side and registration details anchor the other.
