Bug Fixes
Scheduled bulk SMS sends
- You can now schedule an SMS send to a large Campaign without an error. Previously, scheduling a send to a Campaign with more than about 100 Contact members showed the error "STRING_TOO_LONG, Recipient List: data value too large," even though the messages still went out at the scheduled time.
- If a scheduled send can't be saved, it is now canceled and the on-screen message tells you that no messages will be sent. This applies to sends scheduled from a Campaign and from a list view. Previously, you could see an error while the send stayed scheduled and went out anyway.
Tip: Sends that showed this error before you upgraded were still scheduled. You can find them in the scheduled jobs list on the Messaging Admin tab.
Field/Layout Updates
This release has no new or changed objects, fields, page layouts, or permission sets.
Note for Salesforce admins: For very large scheduled sends, the Recipient List field on the Scheduled Message Job record may list only the first recipients. This field is a reference copy and does not change who receives the message.
