Salesforce Release Update Known Issue

Enable Secure Static Resources for Lightning Components is a Salesforce Release Update that has been postponed indefinitely. Test Run on this Release Update should remain disabled in order to use our Virtual Terminal components. This is due to a Salesforce Known Issue.

Table of Contents

Bug Fix

  • Payment Methods: Attendees can now complete the payment and registration process for an Event when checking out with an ACH Payment Method on a Stripe gateway. Previously, the Attendee received the following error message: “Warning. Checkout failed, please try again later.” (Known Issue: 000003393)

Enhancements

  • Batch Jobs: The Payment Balance Update batch process now only includes Connected Accounts with Update Balance = “True” (checked). Previously, it included all Connected Accounts, causing a large number of accounts to be processed together.
  • Stripe Billing: Stripe Billing users can create one-off Invoices in Salesforce that will sync to Stripe for accurate revenue recognition without editing the data in the Stripe Dashboard. The Line Item fields Service Start Date and Service End Date will sync with Stripe’s end and start Supply dates.

Mobile Payments App

Bug Fix

  • The Mobile Payments app’s logic was updated to ensure a user can process different Transactions across different Payment Gateways and create a successfully processed Transaction and a valid Payment Method.

    • If the Transaction's Contact/Account matches an existing user with the same Payment Gateway used for the new Transaction, the existing user will be attached to the new Payment Method and new Transaction.
    • If the Transaction’s Contact/Account does not match an existing user with the same Payment Gateway, a new Payment Gateway Customer will be created and attached to the new Payment Method and Transaction.
