How to change the language for your event

By default, all event listings are displayed in English. If you want to translate your page into a different language, you can change these on the Event Settings object.

Create/Update Event Setting

On the Event Settings record define:

  • Language Selector This field turns the feature on or off on your Event overview page. (
  • Source Language This field is no longer supported.

  • Target Language This is the default language of your event. Your event will be translated into the Target Language.

  • Supported Languages This field allows you to define what languages are added to the language selector. If you don't define this field, the default is all languages. This allows an attendee to view the event in the language they choose.
