Export Leads to Salesforce
Prerequisite: Confirm you have the following before trying to export leads to Salesforce:
Salesforce Account (Production or Sandbox)
Appropriate permissions to create Leads/Contacts and manage Campaigns
An active team and a Smart Capture event with captured leads in the app
Before you export leads to Salesforce, you have the option to either map Custom Question fields from a Smart Capture event to Leads’ records and/or retrieve mappings from a different Smart Capture event to Salesforce for the new event.
Log in to Salesforce
Log in to your Salesforce org.

Enter your Salesforce credentials.
Tap Allow to grant the Blackthorn Smart Capture app access to your org. Once the app is connected, it will present you with the option to select a Salesforce Campaign or map Salesforce fields.
Enter the Salesforce Campaign’s Campaign Name (a partial name is okay) and select it.

Now you can either tap the Export [X] Leads to Salesforce button to export leads or click Map Salesforce Fields to map fields to Salesforce.
Map Salesforce Fields
Map Custom Question Fields to Leads’ Records
You can now map leads’ fields from the Smart Capture app to the Salesforce Lead records’ fields. By default, fields in the Smart Capture app that lack a standard Salesforce field to map to are mapped to the Description field.
Click Map Salesforce Fields.

Scroll to the bottom to see Custom Question fields added in the Smart Capture app.
Click Description (Description) next to the question/field you want to map.

Select a field from the Salesforce Lead record.

Click Save Mappings.
Retrieve Mappings from Another Event
In addition to mapping Custom Question fields from a Smart Capture event to Salesforce, you can also retrieve mappings from a different Smart Capture event to Salesforce for the new event.
Click Map Salesforce Fields.

Click the Share icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Select the Smart Capture event that contains the mapping you want to map for the new event.

Click Apply.

Export Leads
Enter the Salesforce Campaign’s Campaign Name (a partial name is okay) and select it.

Tap the Export [X] Leads to Salesforce button.

Wait for the export to complete. This may take a few minutes.

Click OK once the export is complete.
When you go to the Campaign, you will see the Leads in the Campaign Members section.

Note: If duplicate Leads are found, they will be attached to the Campaign.
Export Leads via CSV
Tap the Export [X] Leads to Csv button.
Select where you would like to store the file.
Export Leads via Google Sheets
Tap the Export [X] Leads to Sheets button.
Sign in to your Google account and continue to allow permissions. If you see “Google hasn’t verified this app,” go to Advanced, then “Go to Blackthorn | Smart Capture (unsafe),” and click Continue.
The Google Sheet with your leads is exported to your Google account.
Click OK once it’s finished, or click View to see the file now.
