The Event Builder does not allow for the creation of recurring Events (yet).
The Builder button on the Event record opens the Event Builder, but it does not automatically select the relevant Event.
The Event Builder does not display the Venue data on the Landing Page, although it will appear on the published Event webpage.
The Event Builder is not optimized for mobile use.
The Event Builder does not save as you work. If you lose connection to Salesforce or refresh your page before you save, the data is lost.
Custom primary and background colors will not appear in the Event Builder, even though they appear on the published Event’s webpage.
The Event Builder is designed to work primarily with the new Dynamic UI.
- Users can edit existing Events with any UI from the Event Builder and maintain the Event’s original UI. However, the Event Builder will show the Event as if the user were using the Dynamic UI, which will differ from the published site.
- Users cannot change an Event to one of the older UI options from the Event Builder. Instead, users must select the UI from the picklist on the Event record.
