Configure for Salesforce Chat (Live Agent)

  1. Install the Salesforce Chat Extension Package:

  2. Once installation is complete, Turn on Detection for LiveChatTranscript.

  3. You should see the following alert notification:
    turned on for livechat transcripts(1)

  4. Congratulations! You have successfully configured Salesforce Chat for Blackthorn Compliance.

If you are using Salesforce standard feature Sensitive Data Rules, you can use them in tandem with Compliance. Sensitive Data Rules mask known patterns during Live Chats, in browser. Compliance will mask known patterns after the chat has ended, in the Live Chat Transcript object. To read more about Sensitive Data Rules, click here.

You still need to install Compliance from the Blackthorn Candy Shop, but we will upgrade your existing package to include Live Agent support.
