In this article, we'll explore the feature that allows the users to call within Salesforce!

What happens when CTI is disabled?

When the CTI option isn't enabled, you won’t be able make any calls. A line over the phone icon will also indicate that this feature won’t work.

When the CTI option is enabled, the indication would be shown as below!

Enable CTI in Salesforce

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. Search "Call Centers" in Quick Find and Open.
  3. Open a Call Center App. (if installed eg: Zoom Phone Call Center)
  4. Click on "Manage Call Centers Users".
  5. Add a user to the App.
  6. Log in as the assigned user into Blackthorn Messaging.
  7. Click the Phone Number from Messaging Conversations and make your call.
