Open Checkout from an auction. It has three tabs: Console, Unpaid and Reconciliation. It needs the Auction Settlement switch. ## Take payment 1. Pick a registration from the queue, 20 at a time with Show more. 2. Review the order: won items, premium, raffle tickets and pledges, with the amount owed. 3. Add a payment. Types are Card on file, Keyed card, Cash, Check, Wire and Other. Check and wire payments take a reference. 4. Add more payments to split an order. The order is paid when payments equal the total. - A payment above the balance is rejected and nothing is written. - Cash, check, wire and other payments are voided with Void, which restores the balance. A payment already on a sent receipt cannot be voided. - Card payments are reversed with Refund, not Void. Refunds need an admin and cannot exceed the amount paid. - Submitting the same payment twice records it once. - If auto-charge is working on the same registration, you see a lock message. Try again after it finishes. ## Unpaid Lists winners with a failed, needs-action, no-card or unpaid status. Export CSV matches the list. ## Reconciliation Flags Charged, not recorded; Recorded, not charged; Amount mismatch; FMV mismatch; and Sync pending. When Stripe cannot be reached, card payments show as Unverified and the page still loads. ## Check-in and paddle cards Check in a bidder and print paddle cards, four per page. A registration with no paddle number gets one assigned before printing. Permissions Staff need the bt_fundraising_Auctions_Admin or bt_fundraising_Auctions_User permission set. Planners can take and void payments; refunds need an admin.
